Pricing and cancellation policy

Pricing
This is a limited time offer, prices are subject to change. Toast Tours, LLC operates fully insured PUC/TCP-licensed vehicles. Tour prices do not include tasting fees, meals, gratuities for the guide, lodging, tolls, parking fees, airport fees, or park entrance fees unless otherwise noted.
Prices listed in printed media are subject to change because prices have often been printed far in advance. We do everything we can to keep our prices the same as published.
It is company policy that we do not accept direct reservations without credit card details which can either be used as a means of payment or as a guarantee of payment. Once submitted, credit card details are entered into a secure hosting network. These details can only be accessed by authorized personnel and for the purpose of receiving payment for the services provided.
Please note that by agreeing to the terms and conditions when making the original reservation, the customer gives consent to Toast Tours LLC to collect any cancellation fees that might incur if the customer revokes on their reservation.
Prices are quoted in US dollars and all payments must be made in US dollars.
GRATUITIES
Gratuity for your Tour Guide is not included on our tours. Gratuities are based on your guides’ performance, and are greatly appreciated. For a good performance, it is standard to give a 18-25% gratuity within the United States.
For all private tours, we recommend an 18% gratuity for your guide/driver and I will include this amount in my proposal, but we do not add any gratuity automatically. You can choose what amount you would like to give on the day of the tour.
Cancellation Policy
PRIVATE TOURS
To confirm a charter or private tour a non-refundable $200.00 deposit per vehicle or 20% of the total booking value, whichever is greater, will be charged upon confirmation of the booking. As long as we have not received the deposit, the charter or tour is not confirmed and your requested date will not be held.
For cancellations made more than 14 days before the day of your charter or tour (336 hours before 12.01am the day of planned initial departure) the deposit will be held. Any cancellations with less than 14 days before the day of your charter or tour you will be charged the full amount of the tour at the quoted hourly rate and the minimum number of hours for that day.
LARGE GROUP POLICY
A large group is defined as any booking requiring two or more vehicles, regardless of vehicle capacity. For tours without transportation, a large group is defined as any booking of more than 10 guests.
For large group bookings, payment equal to the minimum required charge, whether based on the minimum number of hours at the quoted hourly rate or the minimum per-person amount, will be collected 30 days prior to the charter or tour date. This minimum charge applies regardless of any subsequent vehicle or group size changes.
If you have confirmed multiple vehicles and later require fewer vehicles, deposits for unused vehicle(s) will be applied toward the total charter or tour cost if notice is provided more than 90 days prior to the start of the tour.
If notice is provided between 30 and 90 days prior to the start of the charter or tour, deposits for any additional vehicle(s) no longer needed are non-refundable.
If additional vehicle(s) are canceled within 30 days of the charter or tour date, the minimum required charge for those vehicle(s) remains due and will be collected 30 days prior to the charter or tour date.
PACKAGES AND THIRD PARTY TOURS
Tours with hotel packages and other third-party attractions tickets cancelled or changed with more than 30 days notice prior to departure (720 hours before 12.01am the day of planned initial departure), will incur a $200.00 fee or a fee of 10% of the package cost, whichever is greater. Cancellations of any Tour package or 3rd party attraction ticket with less than 30 days notice will not be entitled to any refunds.
PUBLIC TOURS
For public or shared tours a full refund will be given for cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled departure time. Any cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will not be entitled to any refunds.
PUBLIC GROUP MINIMUM NUMBER OF GUESTS
Our public group activities have a minimum number of guests required for them to run. While unlikely, it is possible that it will not reach the minimum and you will be notified that it has been cancelled. If this happens, we will work to find an alternative solution or will issue a full refund.
PUBLIC GROUP TOURS TIMELINESS POLICY
As a courtesy to your tour companions, it’s important to be on time. If you are late or miss your scheduled pickup time for the tour please contact our office immediately at 805-400-3141. An alternative pick up location may be arranged at your expense, subject to availability. Any guest who misses their tour entirely will be seen as a no-show. No refunds will be issued.
LATE ARRIVAL
For all tours, we will start billing your tour at the time the tour was scheduled to start, not the time the tour actually started. For a private charter or tour charged by the hour, we’re happy to extend your experience if you’d like to go longer (subject to guide and vehicle availability), and additional time will be billed at the quoted hourly rate in 15 minutes increments.
Requests to change your start time must be made at least 24 hours in advance and are subject to availability. Changes requested within 24 hours will be treated as a late arrival and billed from the original scheduled start time; however, if you’d like to start earlier and we’re able to accommodate the change, we’ll do our best. Additional time will be billed at the quoted hourly rate in 15 minutes increments.
For a per-person priced or fixed-time charter or tour, the start and end time remains firm, and no refunds or extensions will be provided for late arrivals or missed experiences.
IMPORTANT NOTE ON RESCHEDULING
Rescheduling is only available more than 14 days before your tour (336 hours before 12.01am the day of planned initial departure). If you choose to reschedule, please be aware that the new date will be considered final and non-refundable. Any cancellation made after a reschedule will not be eligible for a refund, regardless of the original cancellation policy.
